Yoga and Stretching For Busy PeopleBy Bob Hoffman If you are like me, you barely have time to sleep, let alone exercise! Life has gotten increasingly busier for most of us as each year passes. A certain amount of stress from busyness is actually good for us. However, when we are too busy, the excess stress creates tension, tiredness, and ill-health. It is a well-known fact that exercise is the best way of dealing with this excess stress. It is not the only way, but it is arguably the best way. Running from one task to another, up and down the stairs, driving to the food store, picking up the kids, and performing the thousands of time sensitive commitments and tasks each day is not exercise! If that were the case, we would be one of the healthiest people on the planet, instead of one of the least healthy. All the running around has just made us sick and tired.< more> |
